Project Tracking

As soon as the Client signs the MOU and Technical Proposal an account is created for him on the Bryka Web World. Through this account the Client has access to the latest updates with respect to his project proceedings. This module of the Bryka Web World is called the Project Tracker.

Here are some of the things that the Client will be able to track with the help of Project Tracker.

• Configure your own workflow by customizing the categories, statuses, and priorities.
  Pre-configured with a work flow that suits the team

  1) Tasks/Issue/Bug is entered and assigned to Manager/Developer.
  2) Manager/Developer checks-in Tasks/Issue/Bug-Fix/Acceptance.
  3) Analyst/QA  verifies Tasks/Issue Fix/Acceptance and closes the Tasks/Issue/Bug.

   

• Print/ Email the Entire work Schedule as text or charts for executive summary
   
• Upload/attach files - like jpg/gif screen shots - to Task/Issues/Bug entries.

   

• Tasks/Bugs are color-coded according to priority. Hot Tasks/Bugs look hotter.

   

• Search for Tasks/Bugs. Save searches as SQL queries that you can run later.

   

• The default view of  Tasks/Bbugs can be tailored according to the user's role. For example, QA Analyst's default view could be the bugs checked-in but not verified as fixed. Developer can choose to see just bugs assigned to himself/herself.

   

• Subscribe to notifications that tell you when a Task/Bug has been added or changed.

   

• Tasks/Bugs can be assigned to a user by default on a per project basis.

   

• View history of changes and log of comments posted to Tasks/Bugs.

   

• Link Tasks/Bugs together via hyperlinks in the Task comments. Use the format "bugid#99" where 99 is the bug id number.

   

• You can customize the screen by adding additional fields.

   

• Enter Tasks/Bugs via email. A POP3 client is included that will fetch emails and stuff them in the database as pending Tasks/Bugs. You can reply to the emails from within Project Tracker  and your replies will be recorded.

   

• Includes Tasks/Bug statistic reports with pie charts, bar charts and Gantt charts. Easy to create your own reports if you know SQL.

   

• Merge duplicate Tasks/Bugs into each other.

Apart form access to your Project Tracker you will be provided additional FTP space and a dedicated Email address on per project basis on the Bryka Web World. This will help the Client /Bryka to do all  communications to & fro and data transfer very quickly, efficiently and accurately.
